    OVERVIEW

    Amy Kriegsman

    Ms. Kriegsman is a seasoned litigator who has practiced matrimonial law for over twenty-five years, in both New Jersey and New York. She is passionate about helping victims of domestic violence. She is a clear, confident and persuasive communicator and a highly effective litigator. Ms. Kriegsman has handled multiple divorce, custody and support matters from commencement to conclusion, be it resolution by settlement or litigation when required. She strives to find creative solutions to difficult matters. Ms. Kriegsman has argued several matters at the Appellate level and has both published and unpublished decisions.

    PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

    Ms. Kriegsman graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication. She received the prestigious Woman of Promise Award. She received her Juris Doctorate from New York Law School, where she was a member of the Order of the Barristers; she was an Executive Member of the Moot Court Association, and a Notes and Comments Editor on the New York Law School Journal of International and Comparative Law. Ms. Kriegsman was admitted to practice law in New Jersey, New York and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey in 1992. Ms. Kriegsman spent the first half of her career practicing family law in New York City and Westchester New York. Ms. Kriegsman is a Partner at Riordan Family Law, and has been with the firm since inception and before that its predecessor, Veres & Riordan, LLC.
