The law firm of Riordan & Associates, LLC started as the solo law practice of Patricia L. Veres, Esq. in Morristown, N.J. in 2005. The law practice’s first office was near the historic Morristown Green, just a few blocks from the Morris County Superior Court House. In 2006, the law office moved to larger space near such landmarks as the Morristown Performing Arts Center, formerly known as the Community Theater and the Dublin Pub. By August of 2006, Catherine F. Riordan, Esq. had joined the firm as a partner, and the firm, again, began to seek out larger office space.
Morristown is rich in history. The Town is the County Seat of Morris County. George Washington used the Town of Morristown as his headquarters for two different winter encampments during the Revolutionary War. The Town boasts numerous historic and cultural landmarks, including the Morris Museum, MacCulloch Hall Museum and Gardens, Acorn Hall, and the Fosterfields Living Historical Farm. The Historic District of the Town features many Victorian era homes, including that of famed political cartoonist, Thomas Nast.
Currently, Morristown is home to many fine restaurants, offering a wide variety of cuisines.
Although Riordan & Associates ultimately relocated from Morristown in search of larger office space, the attorneys continue to frequent the Court House there. Riordan & Associates is now located in Denville, a Township sometimes referred to as the hub of Morris County, due to its location and immediate access to Routes 287, 80, 46 and 10.
